THE LFA IN THE SPOTLIGHT

THE LFA IN THE SPOTLIGHT

One month after our very first Winter Classic games on January 16th 2016, the LFA and the Hockey Brotherhood Association are proud to announce our 10 000$ contribution to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. The raising of these funds mirrors the commitment of our management and the generosity of our key volunteers who all contributed in making an event of this caliber possible. Our league also would like to thank all our sponsor's, particularly Location Turbo who rented all necessary equipment to us free of charge.

NO MORE WORDS

NO MORE WORDS

2016 started with a bang with our first newsletter sendout and now, our first Winter Classic- the first in the history of Montreal - is upon us. As Mike, the goaltender for the Loggers would say, “that’s a lot of firsts!” The match will see each of the six teams of the LFA taking part, another first with a relay match and a cumulative score that will allow everyone to stay engaged with the crowd on an entirely different level. The crowd will surely be pulling for the team that enters the game trailing through no fault of their own!

THE LFA FINISHES 2015 IN STYLE

After three tightly fought games that brought the first part of the season to a close, friends and family of the LFA gathered to bid farewell to 2015 in style. More than sixty people met, first, within the plush confines of the Brasserie Saint-Denis to eat, drink and be merry. Everyone circulated from table to table, spicing up the conversation as they went, creating a festive vibe. Then it was off to Bily Kun, where the night once again opened its bag of surprises, as other members of the league and their friends joined the party. With the sound of last call, we scattered into the shadows of the night, writing stories to the rhythm of our steps, continuing on a voyage whose only horizon is the limits of our imagination.
