Ladies and gentlemen, last Saturday in the first game of the day, between the Social Revival Hackers and the Pro-jet Demolition Rhinos, we were treated to a first ... defeat of the men in red! The game started well, with tight play and each team playing with caution while applying more and more pressure in the neutral zone to force turnovers. On August 27, the first Inter-Divisional Final of the LFA was held. Indeed, members of the best league in the Montreal area were able to choose for the 2017 summer season to play either in one of the teams of the metropolitan division or for one of the new south-shore division's teams, which played at the Brossard Bell sport complex. The high quality facilities that usually serves as the second home for the Montreal Canadiens attracted more than one, whom were divided into four teams. For their part, the six Montreal teams played their games at the Notre-Dame College arena, our usual rink; the two divisions completed the summer season with semi-finals to determine which teams would represent their respective division in the Inter-Division Final.

After a tough end of the season and nearly a dozen games without a regular victory, the Shamrocks got together and had a perfect preliminary round with four wins in as many games. They thus secured the first place; They will face the Meteores, who have experienced up and downs in the playoffs, experiencing excellent and bad games. They finished at the fourth and last place for the semis.

Recently, the Ligue Fédérale des As announced that it had reached a preliminary agreement with Sports365 to create a new division in the league this summer. After several meetings between the two organisations, the LFA is proud to announce that the games for the Brossard division will be held on Monday evenings at 7:30 pm and 9 pm. This will allow a greater number of players to enjoy the benefits offered to its members by the LFA, the greatest adult hockey league in Québec. A great news that concretizes the efforts deployed in recent years to export the unique vision of the league.
