LFA JOURNAL
HASHES OF THE MORNING AFTER
/The headline is meant to evoke a state of soul and spirit the day
after going hard, both on and off the ice. The hard truth the morning
after often forces us to examine decisions we made the night before,
and that we must live with until the next encounter. As I sit perched
above The Main, watching the ants scurry about at the foot of my

/We've waited for ages for our new dressing rooms. Work that was supposed to be done over the summer to have all six rooms ready for September was delayed for months because of a long string of disputes between the contractor and the college. As a result, we started the season in dressing rooms fit for squatters, namely number 3 and 4. Injuries, a change in schedule and personal issues combined with a number of absent players has meant that the first third of the season hasn't gone exactly as planned by the player-coaches of each team.

/There's a photo to go with this week's news. It might be invisible to those who can't see it but it's there for anyone who knows how to look. I'll leave you to your memories mixed with what men think of "X" times a day. Maybe she's there somewhere, halfway between dream and fantasy, a place where reality catches up to us only to be left behind again by our imagination...
